Walking With Students
It is such a gift to walk with students as they encounter Jesus. Thank you parents for the joy each of your children bring to my heart each day and for all you do to teach them about a friendship with Jesus. I love watching them grow as the year goes on. May is one of my favorite months, and not just because I can finally put away the winter coat! Teaching students the power of Mary’s intercession in their lives is a lesson I hope they carry with them all the days of their lives. An outdoor rosary with classes is a time enjoyed by all. Mr. Dan was even able to join us. His witness to the love of Jesus is a gift to our building. As summer nears, and families find themselves traveling together, try turning off the radio and praying a decade of the rosary together. Share intentions with one another and ask the Blessed Mother to help your family. Here is a beautiful prayer to Mary written by Saint Mother Teresa:
and spotless as yours.
A heart like yours, so full of love and humility. May we be able to receive Jesus as the Bread of Life, to love Him as you loved Him, to serve Him under the mistreated face of the poor. We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
